First of all thanks for all the great topic suggestions. I think we are going to use all of them in some form or another. Please continue to suggest more ideas as they come to you :) Also thanks to everyone for contributing their beautiful work on the Zodiac Topic. And also thanks to the many visitors of the blog.

Since there were many suggestions regarding self-portraits we are going to have several rounds of self-portrait topics through out the year. We will then use the other suggestions in-between the self-portrait rounds. Here is round one:

SELF-PORTRAITS ROUND 01

1) Self-Portrait in the style of a favorite artist. (Not frightfully original, but a nice opportunity to see who's influenced by who.)

2) Self-Portrait Forty Years from Now.
