I'm teaching a multimedia class this week. One of the things we did was make up nicknames for all the instructors so, I decided to embrace my long time nickname. Lately I've been trying to do some work that is not based on reference because I feel like my over dependence on reference has been handicapping my creativity as an artist.

Darn, well, I wanted to do a portrait in the style of Adam Ford, but his stuff manages to have much softer edges. Oh welllll. 8) Fun assignment!
