Here is a quick little ditty on the assassin angle. This guy uses a high-power air gun to shoot poison darts at his targets.

Code Name: Snake Eyes

Proficient in 12 different unarmed fighting systems (Karate, Kung-Fu, Jujitsu, etc.) and is highly skilled in the use of edged weapons. Has received extensive training in mountaineering, underwater demolitions, jungle, desert and arctic survival, and some form of holistic medicine. Qualified expert: All NATO and Warsaw Pact small arms.





Code Name: Storm Shadow

Served with Snake Eyes in Southeast Asia and both of them later studied the secret art of Ninjitsu with the family of Storm Shadow, a ninja clan that could trace its history back through thirty generations of ninjas. Unhinged by the murder of his uncle and mentor, he infiltrated Cobra seeking revenge, but found vengeance to be a poor substitute for life. Now, in semi-retirement at a remote mountain hideaway, he occasionally takes on a special mission or two - if Snake Eyes asks him nicely.

Troy Bloomtree

This is the last known image of Troy Bloomtree. He is believed to be at large. He is wanted for the death and mutilation of nearly a dozen victims. Bodies are often found dressed up in costumes and posed. Tripods and cameras are often nearby. Bloomtree is obsessed with celebrity and fame, and is thought to kill his victims in hopes of using them as castmembers for his "masterpiece".

*if you resemble Troy Bloomtree (in appearance), I promise, it is an accident. If you resemble Bloomtree in any other way, I hope I never meet you!

A Beast of Burden based off of one of my favorite classic creatures, the chimaera. Ohhh yeaah.

Great Dolphin

Artificially evolved from their smaller ancestors, the domesticated Great Dolphin is the transportation of choice across the great seas of the world. Ever since the Big Melt of the 22nd century, humans have learned to use these beasts of burden to perform a multitude of underwater tasks. Their great strength and intelligence have made them prime choices for use in our world today. Riders are equipped with a breathing apparatus that is set to refill when the Great Dolphin comes to the surface to breathe (approximately every half hour).

Beast of...

Okay, so maybe he's not quite a beast of burden, but he is still a beast none the less. This is a comp for a piece that is a carryover from the Dino/Samurai challenge. Part kneaded eraser, part photoshop.

Okay. I am done with this painting...not because it's actually anything that could be considered done, but because I'm up against the wall with the designs. I have a whole lot more design work that has to be done on the environment and the characters, so I will have to do this one again. Still, it's something that can help me get the gears cranking.

This dinosaur was one of my favorites back in the Jurrasic Park days....I can't remember it's name but it was cooler than triceratops because it had a bunch of spikes on its head. Now with samurai armor and swords he is invincible!

Horror meets Thriller [A Comic]

Man-Thing was an obscure horror comic from Marvel's seventies' output; the eponymous character was a swamp creature who could sense people's emotions. If he came in contact with a person who was afraid his hands would secrete a corrosive acid (or, as the narrator would intone: "Whoever knows fear...burns at the Man-Thing's touch!").

With that in mind, let us visit our mucky monster as he encounters a horror from our own childhood...
