Haitian Citadel


On the Highest Mountain in Haiti, King Christophe led his troops from an impenetrable Citadel against European Slavers and settlers defeating them and creating the first ever black republic.

Love it - nice idea. Inspired by the Black Panther, maybe? Nonetheless, this is nice stuff - A Black Republic flag would be nice too.

I, for one, am shocked and appauled that they formed their own black republic and were not enslaved. Other than that minor detail, good stuff. Really well incorporated into the perspective of the picture!

An interesting note of history... The slave revolt didn't start at the citadel. In fact the citadel was built by a Haitian king - probably more cruel than the slavers.
