Autobot: BackUp (1991 Toyota Pickup)

Here is my "ride" as a Transformer. 1991 Toyota Pickup: so Fresh... Done, as finished as he gets.

I've named this guy BackUp for his reliability over the years. As an older 'Bot, he is not the quickest or in the first line of defense, but he's there in a pinch. He definetely pulls his weight, even when components of him are damaged and not replaced with the finest of materials. Though sometimes mistaken for a Go-Bot, BackUp is a definete contender and uses a powerful energy rod converted from his muffler. He's definetely got a few good years left in him, but his trustworthiness will never fade.

I like the weapon. Very clever. Probably the sweetest ride i have ever had the chance to be driven in. Make sure you have the garbage bag-fitted window in the autobot design.

Hey Nelson
thanks for all the nice comments.

This is looking sweet. Great Design, he feels like a small truck. Your characters are looking awesome.

I really like this, it has the classic 80's transformers feel and I could see it as a toy. cool stuff!

Darnet Ariel took my comment so I'll just repeat what he said. 80'S RULE! haha

I agree with Lawrence and Ariel. the design is so cool! What'd you post this at work? Behind my back?!

What do you mean fresh, that's like 17 years old, now my 92 Reagal, however, would fall under that description.

Nice design, I really like his helmet design,.... or I guess that would be part of his head. And thanks for extending the deadline. I have been focusing on car problems(of the non-transformer related kind) for the past week, so I thought I was going to give up on this one.

I like how it really reflects the older style of transformers, rather than the new, what the hell is going on designs. ILM should just hire you!
